Business Writing @ Purdue

The class was cancelled this Tuesday. We did the evalution for Project three on Thursday's class. And we also sign a contract which allows MLS to post and use our project work. There are not many thing we can do currently while waiting for the response from Peg. We probably can hear something from Peg and do some modifications to our final project and really wrap it up at the final week.

Time goes by really quickly. Here is another end of semester coming... Hope everyone can do great at the final week and keep warm in this cold weather :) 

This week each group member looked over their slides and corrected any formatting or content recommended by the class from the presentation. Ashley fixed the slides over the weekend. Next, each member looked over the slides, and again ,through email, we corected any mistakes. Then, we sent our corrections to Blake who turned in the final draft. This week we did not have class Tuesday, and on Thursday, we are writing peer evaluations and a final project log, while we wait for Peg's feedback comments on our presentation.

OK, everyone, here is the first draft of our PowerPoint presentation on using the Google calendar, with several revisions from the presentation from Thursday.  I'm still kind of hesitant on the formatting, but from the feedback, this is fine, so just look over it, and let us know what we can do to make it even better before final submission.

This week, in class on Tuesday, we combined our slides together and added extra slides that we had forgotten to make. We converted everyone's generic slides into a design template on Blake's computer. We thought a dark background with a light font color would be most effective. At the end of class, it was my responsibility to make the slides more uniform by inserting bullet points, transitions, etc. After I completed my task, I sent the slides to Ashley so that she could insert and finish her slides. Thursday, I was absent, but I heard that my group presented our slide to the class.

I think that Misha and I have really settled into our new group and I am very thankful that they were so helpful in the smooth transition. The group was each in charge of their own slides and we put them together and they were surprisingly similar. There were some little thing that we had to change like titles, colors of things, etc. And Misha formated the slides for use with slide and text color. We gave our presentation on Thursday, it went well and there were some good suggestions from the class that we too seriously and worked on.
